The installation by artist JR (Jene René), “The Secret of the Great Pyramid,” aims to produce an optical illusion of the Louvre pyramid rising out of the ground dramatically, creating the impression that it has just been discovered during an archaeological dig in Egypt. When viewed from just the right vantage point the piece creates an illusion of the iconic glass pyramid seeming to vanish.

Bang & Olufsen is teaming up with premium luggage maker Rimowa for a limited-edition version of the Beoplay H9i headphones. the special headphones are constructed with anodized aluminium and genuine leather, which come housed in a signature RIMOWA ribbed aluminium case in its signature warm light grey colorway. The project, titled Rembrandt Reality and created by Dutch virtual reality start-up Capitola, allows viewers to enter The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp (1632), getting up close and personal with the doctor and the corpse of the recently executed criminal Aris Kindte. Developers used ARkit from Apple and ARcore from Google to create the portal.

Among the most tangible announcements at Apple’s services event, yesterday was also its most interesting: a credit card, aptly called the Apple Card, with both a physical and digital version that gives you up to 3 percent cash back. The Apple Card is designed to work with the iPhone and is said to add privacy, security, and transparency to the typical experience of using a credit card.
