The newest piece of inflatable architecture designed by, Alan Parkinson is The Daedalum maze. Which is an interactive and interconnected composition of 19 domes made of translucent material. The main purpose behind the maze was to make people realise the “phenomenon of light”. The maze leads to larger spaces after crossing through narrower spaces, the most open space within the maze is the main dome and the tree, “an adventurous assembly of intersecting volumes”.
