Nea Studio creates biodegradable lamps

Irregularly folded edges of the translucent and withering overlap to form these lamps which are actually made out of dried seaweed. Chlorophyta, a type of the seaweed is basically semi-transparent and allows the light to pass through it. The outcome is a faded glow with uneven deep dark ends. The seaweed sheet is being dried and moulded into cylindrical pendants, while the seaweed retains its colour and transparency even after it is dry, making each lamp unique in its way.
