Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM) has revealed the new proposal for the Kansas City Airport Terminal. The project emerges with an opportunity to revitalize the conventional image of the Kansas City. Superseding the existing, the new terminal focuses on creating seamless transitions in the concise spaces. Aiming at the LEED certification, the design explores idea of minimum walking distances while consolidating check-in and security spaces in one.
