Collective project designs Lakehouse out of granite boxes.

Overlooking the ‘Durgam Cheruvu’ Lake in Hyderabad, the clifftop house by architecture studio Collective Project is designed out of stacked boxes clad with granite and wood. With two major facades, the house transitions from facing a road to overlooking a lake creating distinctive images in order to be responsive to the challenging site. The house has panoramic views of the lake while it is successful in defining private areas from the other side and therefore is named the ‘Lakehouse’.
