Hella Jongerius, a Dutch designer has exhibited her experimental textile work, entitled ‘Interlace’, in the form of a massive fabric loom in the Paris gallery. She has made use of the performative qualities of the gallery to turn the building in a textile studio in order to explore a variety of themes in the field of textile design. She has dealt with the issues related to consumers and textiles based in the cultural, social and economic scenarios. It also informs about the textile production with an aim to increase public appreciation for textiles.
