The fifth and sixth floors of London’s Science Museum have been curated with gauzy white curtains and subtly patterned floors to create a flexible events space. Mary Duggan has provided sheer white curtains set on tracks to create separation in between when required. Space is made spacious by opening up a false ceiling and a large window flooding the interiors with natural light. The floor patterns are so designed to serve as visual markers for how seating can be arranged during events. What more can you ask of a space that is functionally flexible and visually and spatially distinct?
