New York designer Joe Doucet has an invention that could help to protect the crowded area from terrorists: design consists of a 3D-printed concrete bench that weighs over a ton and is linked to each other with steel rods. This is so that if a vehicle hits the seats, they remain attached but shift to form a barrier blocking the vehicle from escape.
