The first look of Saudi Arabia’s Entertainment Capital has been released. Master-planned by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), the project is named “Qiddiya” and is currently under construction just 45 kilometers outside the capital of Riyadh. The project is a combination of an entertainment, sports, and arts complex which includes a theme park and a potential formula 1 motor racing circuit. The project is being seen as an opportunity to generate new jobs and generate a good amount of revenue. The design responds to the natural terrain present on the site and has only used 30% of the land to leave the rest for nature conservation.
