Gijs Van Vaerenbergh designs an arcade arranging classical arches.

‘Arcade’ a new piece of work by Gijs Van Vaerenbergh, is being permanentally installed in the lowlands of Kruibeke- on the outskirts of Belgium. The array of arches standing zigzag in plan, consists of five steel plates with subtracted profiles of classical arches. Forming an interesting portico, ‘Arcade’ traverses along a new flood embankment in Kruibeke, Belgium.
