Wilkinson Eyre has completed ‘Lille Langebro’- a new pedestrian and cycling bridge in the city of Copenhagen. The project was commissioned as result of a competition won by the firm in 2015 for Realdania. It is situated next to BLOX- a cultural complex designed by OMA and connects the Vester Volgade city from city hall to the harbor and on to christianshavn on the langebrogade quaysides. The bridge is curve in plan and rises in the mid span so that it can be open for marine traffic.
