Dutch designer Thom Bindels has designed a honeycomb shaped cardboard frame which works as an Ecosystem Kickstarter by helping small farmers to grow crops in a degraded soil and thus the name. Presented in the Dutch Design Week, the modular cardboard system is embedded in the degraded earth and filled with local soil. The honeycomb structure helps in forming a terrace structure to prevent the runoff of seeds and nutrients in rainwater.
