In the city of Columbus, Indiana near the Miller House designed by Eero Saarinen a huge hammock is being installed by the New York based architecture firm SO-IL amidst 130 procured living trees. Titled as ‘Into the hedge’, the project is located in the lawn of Bartholomew County Courthouse temporarily and as the exhibition gets over the trees are planned to be permanently planted in the Miller House garden. The installation forms a part of the exhibit Columbus, which is an annual event exploring the definitions of art, architecture, design and community.
