Entitled as ‘The best Weapon’, Snøhetta has designed an urban peace bench for the Nobel Peace Centre in Oslo, Norway. The bench has been installed outside the United Nations Headquarters plaza in New York City. The main idea behind the installation was to honour the past Nobel Peace Prize laureates and their efforts in order bring a change around the world in order to bring peace. It also commemorates the efforts of the Nelson Mandela’s ideologies and thus was inaugurated on the Nelson Mandela Day.
