The Royal Ontario Museum or ROM has opened its new Helga and Mike Schmidt Performance Terrace and Reed Family Plaza. The newest additions to the building are designed by Siamak Hariri of Hariri Pontarini Architects (HPA) and acts as a prelude to the poetry of royal architecture of the museum. Offering a place to congregate and relax for the visitors the new plaza and the terrace is also successful in creating a lively streetscape.
