Crimson clusters of open seatings in a newly opened café in Moradabad, India designed by Portal 92 suggests the vibrant Indian villages. Named ‘The Village Café’, it consists of striking white indoors overlooking the much contrasting terracotta plastered rooftop. The place is designed with an intent of becoming a living memory of Indian villages. The cool transition of low heighted partition walls of planters and the clusters designed like a maze adds to the warmth of the place along with a mosaic of local black Kadappa stone. Divided into a split level, the café is connected by a staircase which adds to the dynamics of the whole space.
