Designed by Kengo Kuma and Associates, the Odunpazari Modern Museum (OMM), has been opened this week finally in Eskisehir, Turkey. The dynamic wooden battens in the elevation and the interlocked boxes forms spaces for multidisciplinary exhibitions and events to promote Turkish art and culture. Situated in the city of Eskisehi, OMM turns out to be a means to improve opportunities for art and culture in the cultural capital of Anatolia. Standing highlighted amidst the traditional Ottoman wooden houses the museum design is a merge of modern and conventional outlooks.
