Danish Architecture Firm Dorte Mandrup A/S has won the international competition to design ‘The Whale’ in Northern Norway. As the name suggests, the project aims at promoting tourism in Norway by telling stories of the sea creature through science, art and architecture. Located on the island of Andoya, a small town in the north of arctic circle wihich happens to be the best places in the world for whale watching making it an appropriate site location.
