New office block of Adidas personates a sports arena

Named the World of Sports Arena, the new office block at Adidas HQ in Herzogenaurach, Germany looks more like a soccer stadium. Standing at the southern entrance to the World of Sports campus, the 52,000 square- meter office is designed to encompass more than 2000 employees. The distinctive façade of the building is designed with a functional parameter of sun shading while also adding to the arena’s aesthetic. The entrance being on the ground floor into the main atrium the three storey office building is raised above on 67 irregularly arranged steel supports.
