Mexican firm designs Escher- like arcades around a civic square

In order to revitalize public spaces that were once devastated due to an earthquake back in 2017, architecture firm Estudio MMX conceived a civic square to rebuild a communal space oriented identity. The studio commenced after taking the approval of the local community and the outcome is proving out to be a uniting element. Making vegetation its focus, the designs creates frame of arches around it while encompassing a radiant and versatile space within. The encircling Escher-like arcade holding within a common square results into a dynamic equation creating a diverse language of spaces along with a soothing transitioning spaces around.
