‘Parco del Ponte’ a major urban renewal project for the Italian city of Genoa will be led by a team of Stefano Boeri Architetti, Metrogramma Milano and Inside Outside. The project which is supposed to replace the Morandi bridge after its collapse in 2018, will run under a crossing designed by Renzo Piano. Featuring facilities that will equip the city with an infrastructure to initiate sustainability mobility and smart buildings for research, design and manufacturing, it also has a red circle that forms a pathway for bicycles and pedestrians. the project also has a wind tower that will be responsible for production and distribution of renewable energy.
