Hackney Botanical, a London based company has designed plant filled coffee tables with reclaimed window frames. The coffee tables that double up as ‘indoor gardens’ are handmade and has used mid-century hairpin legs. The designs have either used an entire window frame along with its pane out of an antique sash-window or just its glass, both of which can be taken off to water the plants. Also the frames or the glass are lifted a little above with the help of metal poles to enable air circulation.
