Littmann’s European forest amidst Austrian football stadium

Worthersee football stadium in Klagenfurt, Austria was recently transformed into a native central European forest by the swiss curator Klaus Littman in order to spread awareness about the critical issues of climate change and deforestation. Becoming the largest public art installation with almost 300 trees, carefully installed on the on the existing football pitch, is set to open this week. The artwork is a monumental question being asked to the public regarding the current grave issues of climate change and what future stands for environment.
