Introducing ‘BERT’, first modular building system on a minimal footprint that can be assembled in different arrangements.

This conceptual modular treehouse, BERT, is shaped like a tree trunk with large round windows that very much resembles the single-eyed character from the film Minions. Architecture studio Precht, designed the system called Bert for tiny-homes start-up, Baumbau. Having a circular base with a tubular shape cells, which contains kitchens, living space, bedrooms and bathrooms that can be stacked around, branching out like limbs of a tree.
