Researchers from Tsinghua University including Professor Weiguo XU, have built a 30 square metre tourist visitor centre in the village entrance of Wujiazhuang (Xiahuayuan, Dingfangshui County, Zhangjiakou). the Operable Interactive Village Hut has walls that closes when the temperature drops below 16 degrees Celsius and when it rises above 29 degrees Celsius. The system is designed in a way that it also simultaneously switches on air conditioning or a heating coil system.
