An exhibition titled ‘Still I Rise: Feminisms, Gender, Resistance – Act 3’ has opened this month in the Bristol’s Arnolfini Gallery. The idea behind the exhibition is to focus on the stories of resistance from domestic spheres to large scale uprisings featuring art from 19th century to the present day. Out of all the featured 100 pieces, each and every exhibit details out the defiant women actions against the societal norms of patriarchy.
