The artist and embroider Diana Yevtukh has worked on the empty bare spaces of often scarred trees. The idea was to give life back to the bare spcaes on the barks of trees which are formed out of natural processes like growth process, insect damage and what not. The empty voids are now filled with carefully stitching colourful blooms, hands, human eyes, floral formations resulting into vibrant and intricate compositions. The artwork is a result of artists long contemplative walks in nature which made her think about these forgotten voids.
