Cross Stitch Art by Ana Martins combines analogue and digital mediums.

In her unique street art works, Ana martins- a Lisbon born artist has used the conventional embroidery technique of cross stitch and presented them digitally. The main aim was to transform an old technique and transform into contemporary form of art which merges the two different set of cultural ideologies. Ana has used wool to cross stitch around simple shapes of ‘X’s elaborating the basic principles of the embroidery technique.
