‘Quietude’, the new sculpture the famous fabric sculptor, creates a new sculpture that totally defies gravity. The monumental sculpture is designed to express mindfulness and self-reflection in his signature tulle. The beautiful art piece is set against the beautiful Sonoran Desert sky. The form depicts the details of the face with eyes closed in contemplation. The beautiful piece is equally challenging when it comes to constructing a self- supporting structure which requires the tulle to stand on its own to bend into the facial expression.
