Kohn Pederson Fox Associates (KPF) has designed CITIC Tower which has now become Beijing’s tallest building. Standing tall above other high rise structures, the vase-like form for the tower is inspired from the “Zun”, a vessel which dates back to Bronze Age in China. With a 78-meter-wide base, the building is 54 –meter-wide at its center while it goes upto 69 meter-wide at its top due to its concave form. Majorly inhabiting office spaces, it also has multipurpose business centre.
