Named after Victorian computing visionary Ada Lovelace an artificial intelligence robot Ai-Da was born. It is an art-producing robot, including a full head, neck and long hair on ‘her’ head and a full humanoid body. It was developed by Cornish robotics company Westworld – Engineered Arts. It has an ability to react to humans and to draw using AI processes and algorithms. Ai-da creates curious blend of calculated, uniform chaos, her paintings a homage to the beauty with which light refracts.
