Amidst the affluent district of Notting Hill, is a bachelor pad designed by Gianni Botsword that boasts its insightful spaces. Designing on a pocket sized area squeezed between can be definitely complex. As a response to the conditions site has to offer, the house like an iceberg is sunk underground with only minimal part above ground with a trapezoidal plan due to densely planted gardens on its either side. An appreciable factor of the design is a 6-meter high oculus with accentuated off centric curves which efficiently sucks all the available light and reflects it all over the house.
