White Arkitekter has designed an undulated public sofa made of white-colored stripes in the heart of Uppsala’s Forumtorget square in Sweden. The 65-Metre long public sofa was designed as a result of the 7-year development process following White’s successful entry in a 2011 design competition organized by Uppsala Municipality.
The public furniture acts as a dynamic public space that serves for everyone.
