Faina the Ukrainian furniture brand designs furniture from local materials that is clay, wood willow, and flax. The cabinet with clay doors and seats made from flax represent traditional Ukraine’s design. The aim of the design is to bring back the traditional methods and then transforming them into contemporary design objects without disrespecting them. “The collections are totally based on domestic traditions, materials and craft techniques,” designer Yakusha, explained.
