The Portuguese architecture and design studio ‘Spaceworkers’ has designed the Interpretation Centre of the Romanesque in Lousada, Porto by combining irregular cuboidal volumes of varying dimensions made entirely out of concrete. Taking cues from the Romanesque architecture in Portugal, the design emphasises on the principles of unity in diversity and the principles Romanesque were actually build upon. The design has a central space which is designed to connect the individual volumes and defines the character of a rural street is an another addition to the bold and conspicuous strokes of the building
