Samira Rathod’s Design Associates have recently completed a school building in Gujarat made out of terracotta. Called as the School of Dancing Arches, it gets its name from the lopsided vaulted arches which are inspired from a child’s doodles. The design is conceived into different blocks which is connected by a long corridor which integrates the building with the site. Set in the tobacco fields, the school is near the town of Bhadran in Gujarat.
