Steven Holl Architects’ REACH at the John F. Kennedy centre for performing arts in Washington D.C. opens to public on Saturday. Striving with an aim to open Kennedy centre to the surrounding city and the riverfront and creating a hub of arts and culture thereby popularising the performing arts. Serving as a living memorial to the late President, the new centre flexibly combines the indoor spaces with the outdoors while inhabiting the rehearsal and educational spaces so as to expand the dimensions of the memorial.
