Candalepas Associates, local practicing studio, recently completed a mosque in Sydney, Australia. New religious and community centre woven into the urban fabric of one of southwest Sydney’s most culturally diverse localities. The building features a central large dome and several smaller domes with Islamic calligraphy showing 99 names of Allah. “The Muslims imported the knowledge from their navigational science into their buildings to describe the night sky,” explained Candalepas.
