An organic architectural studio in Tokyo has used steel bars to design an office space. The studio has rented a vacant corner in a 33 year- old office building which they wish to use only for lectures, discussions, meetings between co-workers. Called ‘Rebar’, the name is actually referring to the material it is designed from reinforcing bars.
However, it is a very common construction material, it is not always visible since it is used with concrete to create the composite RCC structures. This time, the material takes the central stage and is used a partition.
