New York City is the pioneer of modern art. The world has its eyes on the city due to the diverse art culture it exhibits. The coming weekend is witnessing exhibitions by some of the most acknowledged artists. Some of them are; ‘Apollo ‘s Muse- The moon in the age of Photography’ celebrates the 50 years of moon landing, Guggenheim exhibits ‘Artistic licence’ by Cai Guo-Qiang, Paul Chan, Richard Prince, Julie Mehretu, Carrie Mae Weens and Jenny Holzer, ‘Auschwitz’- a travelling exhibition on the German death camp. Although the list goes on, New Yorkers have definitely much to do this weekend.
