Kengo Kuma, the famous Japanese architect has designed a helical spring donut shaped installation by interweaving carbon and bamboo together. Touching the critical issues of sustainability, the installation is being constructed from the strongest growing bamboo wood with internal interlacing by carbon resulting in a 2m diameter doughnut shaped ring. The installation is successful in bringing out a flexible dimension of wood while demonstrating the strong structure usually dominant in Japanese architecture.
