CERA launches a new line of products.

Leading Indian sanitaryware brand CERA launches a new premium range of sanitaryware, faucets, wellness and mirrors curated by award-winning Italian designer Ettore, called Senator.

The designing has been done keeping in mind the changing needs and demands of the urban homeowner in the luxury segment. Exclusive displays for Senator have been launched in Cera Style Studios in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kochi, Bengaluru and Chandigarh for customers to be able to personally experience the range.

DANAD Design exhibition to be held in London.

To celebrate the works of DANAD Design’s 60th Anniversary, an exhibition is being hosted at Paul Smith’s Mayfair gallery, London, sponsored by Abet Laminati. The exhibition will take place from April 25 through May 10 2019.

DANAD Design collective highlights the untold stories of Peter Blake, Bernard Cohen, Tom Adams, Barry Daniels, Robyn Denny & Edward Wright. The DANAD’s 2019-20 series of events celebrates the forgotten story of a group of young artists of the pop-art era.

Karim Rashid designs a glassware range for Krosno.

Canadian designer Karim Rashid designed a Sakred glassware collection for Krosno. Sakred comprises a set of drinking glasses, including those specifically for wine, champagne, and cocktails.

“Sakred – the pure geometry of the cylinder and the cone; the most universal forms of the world,” Karim said. “They are the simplest and most timeless shapes utilized to contain spirits through the ages. The various compositions and colors of the Sakred collection bring a sense of power, stability, and purity to an everyday ritual.”

The Campana Brothers launch a cork furniture range.

Brazillian Duo Humberto and Fernando Campana, popularly known as the Campana Brothers, design a furniture range made out of Portuguese cork, comprises of an armchair, and three cabinets.

Known for their use of natural and raw materials, this is the first time the Campana brothers have worked with cork. The sustainability of the material was also very appealing to the designers. Cork is one of the most sustainable materials to harvest and is completely recyclable.
